Here are the instructions for using tampons:
- Wash your hands and open the protective foil as indicated by the arrow or by bending the tampon slightly to break the foil. Remove the bottom part of the protective foil.
- Unwrap the tampon string and pull it quickly and firmly.
- Use your index finger to push into the hollow at the end of the tampon and remove the top part of the foil.
- Insert the tampon into the vagina, preferably when the body is relaxed. Push the tampon as far back as possible at an angle. It’s inserted correctly when you can no longer feel it.
- To remove the tampon, slowly pull the string downwards and forwards. Once removed, wash your hands.
- If you can’t find the string, wait until the tampon is fully saturated. Then squat and push, allowing the tampon to move downwards for easy removal. If you encounter resistance, the tampon may not be fully saturated. Consult your gynecologist if you’re unable to remove it.
- Always ensure you remove the old tampon before inserting a new one. Never use more than one tampon at a time. And at the end of your period, make sure to remove the last used tampon.
